If the networks are not going to protect affiliates - and they haven&#039;t proven they are willing to in umpteen years - then nobody can blame affiliates for turning their backs on them.

I was looking through our figures the other day and 70% of our affiliate business is now done with agencies and direct with merchants, and the reason is because we have developed strong relationships with individuals who are enthusiastic about what they do and we know won&#039;t mess us around.

Now I&#039;d better get back to rewriting emails to networks who haven&#039;t bothered responding...</description>
