Thanks for the call to action Kirsty. This is will be my first Christmas as an affiliate and I’m ridiculously excited!! The credit crunch is bound to make people hit the web for a bargain and I want to be there waiting for them…!

Your Merry Christmas has gotten me excited and motivated, seeing that I’m an aspiring affiliate. I have a few years under my belt with SEO and developing content sites; however, I have very little experience in affiliates. I know you have many posts on getting started but was wondering if you could write a beginner’s post on Christmas affiliates?

I feel so lost when it comes to affiliate marketing. Anyways… Thanks again for all the wonderful blog post articles.

Interesting question Peter. I genuinely have no idea. My gut is that the merchants I personally do the best from will do even better this year than previously.

This is largely because they are keen on price and stock lots of lower value, bargain type items OR are the only merchants around offering their types of products.

We may see the Xmas rush starting a little later.

I have a quick question… How much do you think the credit crunch will impact christmas from an affiliates point of view? I see that year on year affiliate sales have always increased, but is it likely to end this year?
