Hi Rich, well you could basically take any of those routes. Personally I’d dabble in some PPC for an instant hit but that’s not for the uninitiated! If you had a blog that might rank for a niche term that could work well.

Great post Kirsty!

Still trying to get my head around this… how would you go about promoting, for example, the Dawn French book? Would you find a merchant that allows direct to merchant PPC, or create a landing page and put some merchant links on it (and drive traffic organically or through PPC?), or just incorporate the item in a blog?

This is why I’m getting so confused as there’s so many ways to acheive the same thing

Oooohh… Muriel’s wedding, that’d be good. I could wear my abba outfit for the first movie and my wedding dress for the second (though I’d have to take it off again about 30 seconds later in the Queensland climate!!)

I was just looking the Amazon most wished for list for electronics and photo – and also the bestsellers. Fortunately they seem pretty well matched up – so it looks like most people are getting what they want this year! Hurrah – cos I’m included in that most wished for list!

No Abba themed party for us – shame though cos I love them. But I can’t see my husband as Benny or Bjorn! You could watch Mamma Mia before dinner and Muriels Wedding afterwards!
