I used a pair of pretty basic Philips headphones. Not as good as the likes of Bose, but you can get them for £20-ish

I’m slightly gutted cos I had to pay $80 AUD for these same ones over in Australia, but they were worth every darned penny I can tell you!!

Can you recommend any reasonably prices noise cancelling headphones. I always see those Bose ones advertised on the planes and in the press and they always seem to omit the price which I have found out is about £250!

This is like reading my very own personal itinerary. I always have my Ipod with my audio books on (usually marketing talks by the likes of Willie Crawford and the like) and the noise cancelling headphones are an absolute must.

I can definitely relate about traveling long distances in “cattle class”

Similar to the melatonin comment, I also find that when I arrive at my destination, it’s imperative that I do *not* take a nap upon arrive and wait to sleep at the new night time, no matter how tired I am. That makes the jet lag better a few days later…

On most airlines you cant plug your own earphones in as they have the double pin plug! barstewards!
