We've all been there! My husband was full of romantic gestures before we got married - I was showered with lovely gifts - poems he wrote, pictures he painted, flowers and loads of other lovely stuff - lingerie included but not from you it was too long ago! It didn't last long - for the Valentines Day probably only 18 months after we were married I was presented with a carrier bag - what was in it? Delia Smith's complete cookery course! Not even wrapped! I should have realised what I was in for when on our wedding night we went back to our hotel (a Travelodge) and was made a cup of tea before we collapsed into bed - to sleep only!
